orihuela costa

Orihuela’s coast is local council’s most privileged area. With its 17 km  of beautiful fine sandy beaches surrounded by natural landscapes and coves with turquoise waters, an average 320 sunny days a year and an average temperature of  20º Celsius, Orihuela Costa concentrates all the charm of the Mediterranean sea.

Five of these beaches have been awarded with the Tourism Quality Q seal granted by the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce. The most prominent tourism recognition on the national level which is intended to “reassure customers  that they will receive the best possible tourism experience”.

Orihuela city council extends towards the sea with 16km of coastline.

Only 20 km. away from town towards Bigastro and passing San Miguel de Salinas, Orihuela beaches comprise coves, transparent water cliffs and excellent fine sandy beaches of recognised prestige:  Punta Prima, Playa Flamenca, Cabo Roig, Campoamor and Mil Palmeras, are some of the beaches where you will be able to sunbathe and have a nice dip in the sea.

Not far from the seaside, you will also discover a unique landscape of green golf courses among pine, almond and lemon trees and the sea in the horizon.
