11 QUALITUR FLAGS FOR BEACHES OF ORIHUELA
The beaches of Orihuela this year have achieved the most representative distinctions of the sector, which recognize the quality of its waters, excellence in the services provided to its users and respect for the environment, thus making Orihuela an important reference point for Coastal tourism.
The last award was presented last June 20 to the Councilor for Beaches Luisa Boné, who collected the 11 Qualitur flags for the beaches of Orihuela from Raquel Huete, the General Director of Tourism of the Valencian Government. The Qualitur flags are a recognition granted by the Valencian Tourism Agency to all beaches that promote and maintain quality management systems in services and environmental management.
Raquel Huete emphasized in this event that “Qualitur flags are the best reflection of our commitment to quality, natural environment and global accessibility and accredit the tourist excellence that our coastal municipalities offer, and shows the good health of our beaches “.
The flags of Qualitur will be present on the beaches of Punta Prima, Cala Mosca, Cala Estaca, Cala Cerrada, Cala Bosque, Cala Capitan, La Caleta, Calas de Aguamarina, Playa de La Glea, Playa de Barranco Rubio and Mil Palmeras.
In addition to the Qualitur flags of the Valencian Generalitat, the beaches of Orihuela Costa have as many distinctions as the Blue flags and the ‘Q’ of Quality and are under the programs and badges of quality ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
